Machining EquipmentTire Carrier Assembly Machine This machine assembled a number of steel and plastic components onto a magnesium casting. It utilized blow feed and DC torque tool technology for installing screws and studs. This machine automatically applied glue as part of the assembly process. Achievements: 50 second cycle time The machine was designed to be compact reducing the amount of floor space required. Custom ergonomics were included in the design to reduce operator fatigue.
